Seda

Sedagel is a soothing and pleasantly flavoured gel that can be applied to infant gums while teething to relieve pain. It also relieves pain of new dentures, mouth ulcers and abrasions of the gums, palate and tongue. Sedagel contains an antiseptic agent and is suitable to use for infants (aged 4 months and over).

Active ingredients (w/w):

• Choline salicylate 8.7%
• Menthol 0.057%
• Cetalkonium chloride 0.01%

Also contains (w/w): Hydroxybenzoates 0.15% and ethanol 39%.

Directions for use:
Apply an adequate amount of the gel to the tender areas of the mouth. Massage in well and repeat the application every three hours. In the case of ulcers, wipe the surface free of mucus in order to allow the gel to adhere more firmly to the surface of the ulcer.

Seda Lotion contains the local anaesthetic Lidocaine (Lignocaine) for the relief of pain associated with mouth ulcers, toothache and sore gums. It is suitable for adults and children and comes with cotton tips for easy application. For infant teething, Sedagel is recommended.

• Lidocaine (Lignocaine) 2.5%

Also contains (w/v): Chlorhexidine acetate 0.5%, Cetylpyridinium chloride 0.066%, Glycerol 10%, Amaranth 0.016%, Water 10%, Hydroxybenzoates 0.1%, Raspberry flavour 0.25% and Propylene glycol 82.77%.

Directions for use:

• Adults and children over 2 years: Apply with a cotton wool tip to the affected area every 2 hours. Use a fresh tip for each application.
