Our commitment to consumer healthcare is matched by our corporate responsibility. We take it very seriously and contribute to a number of community initiatives.
Our commitment to philanthropy
The Key Foundation is a private charitable trust established by the Directors of Key Pharmaceuticals in 2002.
Each year since its establishment, Key Pharmaceuticals has committed a share of its profits to the Key Foundation and to date, well over $5 million has been distributed to a variety of charitable causes.
The beneficiaries have been principally in the areas of disadvantaged youth support (Mission Australia’s Triple Care Farm) and medical research (Lifehouse at RPA and Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute). Others have included educational and arts initiatives, as well as asylum seeker support.
The company is seriously committed to philanthropy and its ongoing support of charitable organisations that deliver positive impactful outcomes in people’s lives.
Our commitment to managing the environmental impacts of our activities
Key Pharmaceuticals is a signatory to the Australian Packaging Covenant (APC). We are genuinely committed to the Covenant’s goals and targets, and to making a difference to reducing the harmful impact of packaging on the environment.
We take actions to make our consumer goods packaging more recyclable to help reduce the amount of waste that goes into landfill. Where possible, we also try to influence consumer disposal behaviour of our goods through on-pack recyclable labelling enhancements. Reducing our company’s carbon footprint and finding innovative ways to optimise our business activities to reduce our environmental impact via recycling and litter management is something we are committed to.
