How to use OvuPlan In-Stream test

- When you are ready to test, remove the test device from the sealed pouch.
- Remove the cap.
- Hold the test device by the thumb grip with the exposed absorbent tip pointing downward.
- Place the absorbent tip in your urine stream until it is thoroughly wet (at least 10 seconds). If you prefer, you may collect a urine sample in a clean, dry cup or container and then dip the absorbent tip of the stick into the sample.
- After removing the test device from your urine, immediately replace the cap over the absorbent tip. Lay the test device on a flat surface with the windows facing upward and begin timing.
- Read the result after 3 minutes have passed but before 10 minutes have passed (ie between 3 and 10 minutes). Use a timer or watch as reading the result within the specified time is critical.
As the test begins to work, you may notice a pink flow moving across the windows. It is important that the background is clear before the result is read.
Reading the result

If there is no line in the test window, or the line is lighter than the one in the control window, then you have not begun your LH surge and you should continue to test daily.
If the colour of the line in the test window is more intense than or equivalent to the line in the control window, you have detected your LH surge. Ovulation should occur within 24 to 36 hours.
